The ELFS Technical Accounting and Reporting section takes responsibility for ensuring all balance sheet reporting. We ensure compliance with monthly and annual accounting timetables.
Key elements of the service include –
- Balance sheet control account reconciliations
- Accruals reporting and analysis
- Production and supporting working papers to support the Statutory Accounts – Working closely with clients we produce the information to feed the statutory accounts (TRY/FTC forms)
- Financial reporting and analysis – Month end creditors spreadsheets provided to clients with the input of accruals where required. BPPC figures are delivered via the ELFS dashboards system (Intuitive)
- Recharges to NHS and Non-NHS organisations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing information as requested
- Agreement of Income to Department of Health timetable – Preparation of statements and co-ordination of agreements between counterparties
- Pay over and reconcile statutory and voluntary salary deductions – PAYE, NI, NHS Pension, NEST, Union Fees, Court Order etc)
- NHS pension Assurance Statement (for ELFS payroll clients)
- Control account reconciliations delivered via Trintech – a Web based auto reconciliation tool for control accounts which allows clients full visibility to reconciliations and backing documentation
- Bank Reconciliations – produced on a daily basis including posting of debtor income ensuring an up to date debt position
